Agreeing to these terms

By making an account, buying a spot, bidding, or chatting on breakerssociety.com, you agree to these Terms, our Break rules & refunds (which are part of these Terms), and our Privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Who can join

  • You must be 18 or older (or the age of adulthood where you live, if that’s higher).
  • You must be allowed to buy these products where you live. Some formats may not be offered in every state or country.
  • One account per person. Accounts can’t be sold, shared or transferred.

Your account

  • Give us your real name and a correct shipping address, and keep them current. We ship to the address on your account.
  • Keep your password private. You’re responsible for what happens on your account, including purchases made with your saved card.
  • Usernames can’t be offensive, impersonate someone, or pretend to be part of the Breakers Society team. We may change or remove a username that breaks these rules.
  • Member numbers, the OG and Top badges, and name colors are fun extras. They have no cash value and we may change how they work.

Buying spots and auctions

  • Swiping to buy, checking out, or winning an auction is a binding purchase. Every bid is a promise to pay if you win.
  • We may cancel and refund any order, for example when a price or listing is clearly wrong, a break doesn’t run, or we suspect fraud.
  • How breaks run, card assignment, shipping, pickup and refunds are covered in our Break rules & refunds.

Payments

Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number or security code (see our Privacy policy).

By saving a card, you let us charge it for the purchases you make on the site: spots you swipe to buy and auctions you win, plus any shipping and tax shown. We never charge a saved card for anything else. You can remove it anytime.

If a payment fails or is reversed, we may cancel the order, and you remain responsible for purchases you made. Please contact us before filing a chargeback.

Chase Points

Chase Points are our free rewards for members. You don’t buy them; you earn them.

  • Earning: you earn points on what you pay for spots (not shipping or tax), at the rate shown on your account page, plus any welcome bonus or gifts from the team. Points from a purchase are removed if that purchase is refunded.
  • Using: at checkout you can use points for money off spots, up to the percentage shown, per spot. Points can’t pay for a whole spot, shipping, tax, or auction wins, and they can never be used to enter random breaks, giveaways, or anything based on chance.
  • No cash value: points aren’t money, a gift card, or store credit. They can’t be bought, sold, traded, transferred, or cashed out, and they’re not property you own.
  • Not tied to your pulls: points are never given or taken because of what a spot did or didn’t hit.
  • Changes: we may change how many points you earn, what they’re worth, or end the program, and we’ll give members notice before changes that reduce points you already have. Points may be removed from accounts closed for breaking these Terms, fraud, or chargeback abuse, and points given by mistake may be corrected.

Community rules

Live chat and private messages are what make the Society fun. Keep it that way:

  • Respect everyone. No hate, slurs, harassment, threats, or bullying, including about someone’s pulls.
  • No spam, scams or self-promotion. No links, no advertising other breaks or shops, no asking people to pay or trade off the site.
  • Keep it clean. No sexual content, and keep profanity within what the chat filter allows.
  • No impersonation. Don’t pretend to be a host, moderator, or another member.
  • Keep private info private. Don’t post anyone’s address, phone number, or other personal details, including your own.
  • Don’t mess with the site. No bots, scraping, cheating auctions, using multiple accounts, or trying to get around bans.

Use Block and Report in messages, or tell a moderator, if someone breaks these rules.

Moderation

Hosts and moderators can delete messages, time people out, and ban accounts from chat and buying. Our filter also blocks some words automatically and gives timeouts for repeated attempts. We decide what breaks the rules and may act without warning in serious cases. Bans for abuse, fraud or chargebacks may be permanent. You still get the cards for anything you already paid for.

Your content

You own what you post: chat messages, messages, your profile picture and bio. By posting, you let us show it on the site and in our streams and recordings, and to keep it as described in our Privacy policy. Only post things you have the right to post. We may remove anything that breaks these Terms.

Our content

The Breakers Society name, logo, “Stay Chasing.”, artwork, and the site itself belong to us. Card images belong to their manufacturers and leagues. Please don’t copy our branding or use the site for commercial purposes without asking.

Not gambling or investing

When you buy a spot, you’re buying the cards from sealed product that belong to that spot. We don’t sell chances to win money or prizes. Cards are collectibles: we don’t promise hits, values, or that any card will be worth what you paid, and nothing on this site is investment advice. Please buy only what you can comfortably afford. If you’d like us to limit or pause your account, email us and we’ll do it, no questions asked.

Disclaimers

We work hard to keep the site and streams running, but they’re provided “as is.” Streams can lag or drop, and the site can have outages or mistakes. We’re not responsible for the products, policies, or content of manufacturers, Whatnot, or other sites we link to.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Breakers Society isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses (like lost profits or a card’s resale value), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the order the claim is about. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you. Nothing here limits rights you have that can’t be waived by law.

Ending your account

You can close your account anytime by emailing us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, abuse chargebacks, or put others at risk. Sections that should naturally survive (like payments owed, content rights, and liability limits) still apply after an account closes.

Disputes and governing law

If something goes wrong, email us first at contact@breakerssociety.com. Most problems get solved fast that way. These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where Breakers Society is based and of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute that can’t be worked out will be handled in the courts there, unless the law where you live says otherwise. You can also bring a claim in small claims court.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the site grows. We’ll change the date at the top, and for important changes we’ll let members know before they take effect. Using the site after a change means you accept the new Terms.
